Red River Heritage Fair Display

On 30 April 26, St. John’s Ravenscourt student, John Dawson, assembled a display to be viewed by both student and adult visitors on “James Bond is from Winnipeg” in reference to Intrepid—Sir William Stephenson. IS members Alan Parkin and Dale Watts were able to support John’s display by providing some Intrepid Society brochures and lending some SWS-related books.

John ended up winning two awards at the Fair. He won the Manitoba History award presented by the Manitoba Museum and the award for outstanding investigative research presented by CTV. He had quite the day!
