Intrepid Society Presentation 2026

On 4 June 26, 14 Intrepid Society members attended an event at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) D Division building to present an award to the RCMP, including the Canadian Security and Intelligence Service (CSIS) for their contribution to the defence and security of Canada as well as to national security.

President Gary Solar opened with a few remarks, Past-President Dwight MacAulay briefly summarized the RCMP history, Board member Dale Watts read the citation and presented the framed award to Assistant Commissioner Scott McMurchy and Board member Lois Mallet presented the IS medallion to McMurchy as well. Coffee and pastries were served following the presentations.
