Intrepid Society Members BBQ July 2024
Many thanks again to Lois Mallett for hosting an Intrepid Society BBQ comprising smokies, pasta salad, desserts and soft drinks on 24 July. President Alan Parkin provided an update on the Society’s activities to the 21 members who attended. Bert Page made a special presentation to the Intrepid Society of a WW2 print to acknowledge Past President Gary Solar’s tremendous contribution to the Society over many years.
The engraving on the brass plate reads “Donated by Bert and Gerri Page to The Intrepid Society of Winnipeg, Inc on behalf of Col (ret’d) Gary Solar MSM, CD, President 2008 – 2018.”
