Andrew Paterson Receives Intrepid Award

The William Stephenson Agricultural Research Centre, situated in Rosser, commemorates Sir William Stephenson—a Winnipeg-born intelligence officer whose WWII espionage work helped inspire the character of James Bond. This proprietary crop research and development facility is owned by Paterson GlobalFoods.

On November 17, 2019, Andrew Paterson was presented with the Intrepid Award at the centre, in recognition of his efforts to preserve Stephenson’s legacy. The Paterson family also has deep ties to the war effort; Andrew’s father, Donald Paterson, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his service.
