Intrepid Society Breakfast – SWS Birthday

On 29 Jan 26, 24 Intrepid Society members and guests attended a breakfast at the Viscount Gort Restaurant on Portage Avenue. The occasion was primarily to acknowledge the 23 Jan 1897 birth of Sir William Stephenson as well as his death on 31 Jan 1989. James Oborne, Kris Stefansson, and Gary Solar talked about their experience visiting the CIA Headquarters in Langley, VA. The occasion included a visit to the Canadian Embassy, hosted by Ambassador Gary Doer, and the presentation of a maquette by Erin Brown of Sir William as a First World War pilot.
