Igor Sljukic Visits Winnipeg

From Thursday 24 April to Monday, 28 April, IS President Alan Parkin hosted Igor Sljukic from Toronto to show him Sir William Stephenson memorials and Stephenson’s places of residence in Winnipeg. The visit also included a Canadian Aviation Historical Society (CAHS) meeting, a tour of the 1Canadian Air Division Stephenson artifact collection, lunch at the Manitoba Club with several IS members and participation in the IS AGM held at the Sir William Stephenson Library on Keewatin Street on Sunday, 27 April. Igor volunteers at the Casa Loma Museum in Toronto which housed Station M during the Second World War under the auspices of British Security Coordination (BSC). He is interested in establishing an Intrepid Society Chapter in Toronto.
