DESCRIPTION:On 17 Jul 25, the Intrepid Society held another BBQ hosted by Lois Mallett. The 28 attendees, one of the biggest BBQ crowds to date, enjoyed a smokie, drink, pasta salad and a taste of two delicious cakes. Member Bill Zuk outlined upcoming activities this fall including: a candlelight vigil on  Sep 10 at  Brookside Cemetery, a screening of “IF Day” on Sep 24 at the Caboto Centre, and an Historical Forum on Sep 25 at the Aviation Museum in Winnipeg. These activities are to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day and VJ Day.\n\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n
